Provider Relations Specialist (English/Vietnamese)
The successful candidate will address and resolve provider issues and ensures providers are kept up to date on policies/procedures and any contractual changes. Individual will coordinate provider education and training, contracting requests and requirement. Candidate will also provide information and education on Medi-Cal and/or Medicare managed care and Community Health Group to Providers. BA or BS degree required; in Business Administration, Health Care Administration or Health Education preferred. Must be bilingual in Spanish or Vietnamese. Other requirements include two years of provider relations experience, preferably related to Medi-Cal and/or Medicare. Familiarity with community social service organizations and groups. Self-directed; ability to recognize and capitalize upon opportunities to promote CHG programs and services in many different venues. Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze program requirements and regulations, write related policies and ability to understand contract language and educate providers on related issues. Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Publisher. Current California Driver’s License, dependable transportation and proof of auto insurance is also required.
