Corporate Quality Specialist
Supports the organization and Corporate Quality department by: • Conducts Physical Accessibility Review (PARS) at provider sites within San Diego County and documents according to established guidelines. • Assists in the maintenance of facility reviews and Potential Quality Issue (PQI) records, files, and reports. • Assists in the logging and receipt of corrective action plans, medical records, and other requested material from providers. • Tracks the requests, receipts, and review of requested records, corrective action plans, and other material to support all department activities. Preferred attributes of ideal candidate: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Medical terminology. • Associates degree in medical field preferred. • 2 years clerical and customer service experience in medical field. • Proficient in all Microsoft programs (emphasis on Outlook, Word, and Excel). • Excellent customer service and communication skills. • Detail-oriented and organize work effectively. • Ability to interface with all levels of staff and outside agencies. • Exercise good judgment and problem solving skills.
