Since the inception of Community Health Group in May of 1982, we have dedicated ourselves to coordinating quality health care in a manner culturally sensitive to all San Diego residents. Our staff reflects our community and the members we serve. We contract with a large network of physicians who provide excellent care with an understanding of our members’ linguistic and cultural needs.

As one of the oldest health plans in the county, we take pride in the fine art of customer service. Our staff of professionals is committed to serving each and every one of our members to his or her satisfaction. Whenever there is a health concern, no matter how large or how small, we are there to care. Our Customer Service Department is available 24-hours a day, seven days a week. Our staff speaks English, Spanish, Vietnamese and Arabic. In addition, a special language line is available for all other translation needs of our members. We know that your time is valuable, and our goal is to assist you in a timely and respectful way.
