Higher-Income Individuals and Families: People who make a lot of money might not be able to get Medi-Cal because it's meant for those with lower incomes.
Non-California Residents: If you do not live in California, you may not qualify for Medi-Cal.

After you've been accepted to Medi-Cal, you can select a health plan of your choice. To choose Community Health Group (CHG) as your health plan, follow these instructions:
Once we’ve learned that you’ve chosen CHG for your health plan, we will mail you a member ID card and other membership materials you'll need.
Please continue to use your regular Medi-Cal card while you wait for your membership materials.
